The ring is supposed to be very modern - no frills! I had an idea of what I wanted it to look like, but didn't know if it was possible. My teacher showed me how to execute the idea I had, so it is possible and I will soon be starting on it! The design has no claws - so a very clean line around the stone. I had a jewellery lesson this morning which was very useful indeed. I have a light blue gem stone for which I have been comissioned to make a ring. The stone looks a lot like this one:
